If a member of your family is tragically killed in an accident at work in the agricultural industry you may have a claim for damages to compensate you or the deceased’s children and other dependents for the loss of your loved one.
Our lawyers have experience of bringing claims in cases involving fatalities and can advise you effectively and sensitively. We can also help you through the Inquest process and represent you at the Coroner’s Court when the Inquest hearing takes place. Claims in fatal accidents will include awards for bereavement damages, awards to compensate dependents for their loss of financial support and other heads of damages such as loss of services such as decorating, gardening and other household maintenance. |
Whilst damages cannot compensate you for the loss of your loved one, the aim of such an award is to place you in the position you would have been in had it not been for the death so far as money can achieve that aim.
Knowing that you have the resources to support children and to pay for services in the future removes that worry and enables you to rebuild your life after such a life-changing event.
